A series of still images was made to illustrate the way the proposed interior renovation of the basement would look before furniture, fixtures, and equipment was moved in. This particular image was selected at random to give an idea of the progression of images. The facility housed an offset printing and binding activity.

Quite a bit of printing equipment was planned to be moved into the space. Ventilation and lighting of both the equipment and the space was important. Since equipment is relocated from time to time, electrical supply, lighting, and ventilation systems needed to be both organized and flexible, hence the horizontal and vertical ordering of ceiling system components evident in the edge-on view.
