The final rendering - another view
In this frontal view it can be seen that the building also has an interior. Interior views can be rendered as well as exterior views. The Virtual Reality suite of programs includes animation software which makes it possible to display "walk-through" movie-like scenes in which the viewer appears to walk through the building.

Animated scenes can take huge amounts of hard drive space. Consider that the image above on this screen contains 47,000 bytes of information in one frame, and that movies generally display 24 frames per second, or 5.6 Mb for a 5-second walk-through at this image size and at this resolution. Thus animated walk-throughs become very special-purpose tools, albeit very effective ones.

Thank you for taking this tour with us through the world of photorealistic rendering, gliding in this amazing medium through the five easy steps from 2D design to 3D images. We hope you will visit again soon. Please also stop to take a tour of the Web Sites of some of the other architects listed on our home page. You will find their work interesting and exciting. Happy cruising!
